FAQ

-Each item is made by hand, to order. Our current average turnaround time is 3-4 weeks for belts, 8–10 weeks for Radio Straps, 1-2 weeks for Locker plates. 

***Custom orders and purchases made during sales may have a longer turnaround time. Turnaround time for custom orders should be discussed prior to placing an order. 

Turnaround Time: The time it takes to create your item, not including shippingtime. 

2. How long is the total shipping time?

-After your order is shipped, you should receive it within 2-7 business days, depending on your location. If you need your item sooner, please contact us prior to ordering. Upgraded shipping may be available to cut down on shipping time, but our turnaround time will still remain the same, even if you upgrade shipping. 

3. How will I know my items have been shipped?

-Tracking confirmation will be sent by email upon shipment.

4. I've received tracking information but item has not moved for a couple days ?

- We Print labels in bulk of the current orders we are working on at that time. If you have received tracking info, that means we are working on your order. We make sure every package is scanned at the post office to ensure no package would be lost.

5. What is your return policy?

-Yes, please email us at rusticfirefighter@gmail.com and I will do my best to accommodate special sizing requests. 

7. What is Fire Hose made out of?

-Fire hose is made out of a variety of natural and synthetic fabrics such as polyester, or nylon filament and elastomers in their construction. 

8. Do you wash the fire hose before production?

-Although each hose is washed and inspected thoroughly before going into production, after years of service, the hose is weathered and has distinctive markings that will remain after washing, unless specified. If you're looking for something specific, please email us. 

9. Is every belt and strap the same?

-Due to the handmade nature of our products, no two belts or straps are the same. Listing photos are a sample of each product available. While I do my best to make sure you receive an item very similar to what you see in the photos, they will vary slightly. If you have any special requests, please email me BEFORE you place your order. 

No refund will be given based on variances in our handmade products.

11. Can I donate Fire Hose to Rustic Firefighter?

-If you would like to donate hose, or if you would like to see our belts made out of your fire department’s hose, please email us with any information.
